Recipe app
Speak or type a recipe, get back an ingredient list and a shopping list.
Built with Claude Code & Cursor
Prototype
What it does
Tell it a recipe (by voice or by typing) and it pulls out the ingredients, then turns that into a shopping list. The idea was to remove the annoying middle step of manually transcribing a recipe into something you can actually shop from.
Where it came from
This was the first real thing built with Claude Code and Cursor, early in 2026. Less a product and more a way of finding out what these tools could actually do at the time. It was never finished. Development stopped once the initial experiment had answered the question it was built to answer.
Still missing. No name yet, and no deeper write-up. This needs screenshots of the interface and a proper account of what worked, what didn't, and where it stalled.
